KOLBE WEBFuneral services for Mr. Walter J. Kolbe will be 3:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Fesler, Bro. Gary Wilson, and Bro. Glenn Denton officiating.  Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Visitation Friday 4-8 PM and Saturday after 12 Noon at Ligon & Bobo.

Mr. Kolbe, age 80 of Lebanon passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015, at his home.

Born October 18, 1934, in Wilson County, he is the son of the late Robert E. and Nancy Leota Welch Kolbe.  He attended Tennessee Tech and was retired from LUX Clock where he worked as a tool maker.  He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and had been attending Hillcrest Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister.

He is survived by his wife of over fifty one years, Imogene Buckner Kolbe; two children, Nathan (Tammy) Kolbe and Lois (Anthony) Hall; four grandchildren, Lindsey (Jake) Simko, Emily Hall, Brennan Kolbe, and Melanie Hall; and two brothers, Jim (Jean) Kolbe and Earl (Delane) Kolbe.
