Funeral services for Mr. Robert Clell Williams, age 89 of Lebanon, will be held on Monday, October 20, 2014, at 10am from Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home. Pastor John Hunn and Coach Woody Hunt will officiate and interment with military honors will follow in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation Sunday from 1pm-6pm and  Monday after 9am.

Mr. Williams was born on July 2, 1925, in Wilson County to the late Marvin and Ellen Rather Williams.  He was an Army Veteran of World War II, a truck driver for C.B. Ragland Co. for 25 years, and a retired bus driver having worked 20 years for the Wilson County School System.  Mr. Williams was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by five brothers: Clarence Wilson, John Ewing, Claude Mason, Glen, and Rev. James Gordon Williams; and Donna Crutcher who he loved like a daughter.

Survived by his wife of 57 years, Martha Mason Williams; daughter, Debrah Williams; sister, Lucille Weaver; brother, Richard Enoch (Doris Faye) Williams; sixteen nieces and nephews; extended family, Michael Paul Ashey and Brian Thomas Ashey; and special friend, Coach Woody Hunt.

Family and Friends will serve as active pallbearers.

Wilson County School Bus Drivers will serve as honorary pallbearers.
