Riley H. Greer Jr.

Mr. Riley H. Greer Jr. age 73 of Lebanon passed away May 17, 2019, at his home.  Born in Wilson County, he was the son of the late Riley Howard Greer Sr. and Beulah Hemontolor Greer Baird.   He was a 1964 graduate of Lebanon High School and was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University.  He was an U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ.  He owned Greer Farm Fresh Produce for many years.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Faye Garrett Greer; two sons:  Stephen Riley (Tammy) Greer, Jason Lawrence (Allison) Greer; eight grandchildren:  Dylan Greer, Mitchell Greer, Tatum (Amber) Daily, Ethan Greer, Bryson Greer, Mason Greer, Jayci and Jessi Greer; two half-brothers:  Kenneth (Kathy) Greer and Garry Greer.  He was preceded in death by a grandson, Weston Hunter Greer.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 19, 2019, at 2 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Glen Pritchett officiating.  Interment – Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers:  Dylan, Ethan, Kenneth, Garry, Bryson and Mason Greer, Tatum Daily, David Westmoreland.  Visitation Saturday 3-7 p.m. and Sunday 12 Noon – 2 p.m.

    I just got word of Jr’s death. wasn’t a month ago I was talking to him on the phone about a portrait I did of myself that he wanted. I will miss him so much but he’s in a better place now and hurts no more. Love ya cuz
