nopicture-butterfly1Philip Wilson Bennett age 62 of Mt. Juliet died April 11, 2015, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.  Born June 3, 1952, he was the only son of Frank Wilson Bennett and Dorothy Holladay Bennett.  He was a 1970 graduate of Lebanon High School.  He retired from Performance Food Group and attended Joy Church International in Mt. Juliet.

He is survived by his wife of forty years, Diane Bates Bennett; son, Zachary (Audrey) Bennett; three aunts:  Maurine Henley, Hazel Gann, Elizabeth (Bill) Ragsdale.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Rev. Billie Friel and Pastor Rob Simms officiating.  Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers:  Larry Joyner, Randy Randall, Charles Thurman, Darris Crawford, Bob Croy, Ken Pritchett.  Visitation Monday 4-7 p.m. and Tuesday after 11 a.m.

    I was in Nashville temporarily for work and attended Joy Church. I had the privilege of meeting your husband and father, Phil thru Acts of Joy. He was a wonderful man, full of talent and a faithful servant.
