Philip M. Girton

A gathering of family and friends of Philip M. Girton will be on Saturday September 9, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon at which time there will be an opportunity for sharing memories at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Lebanon.

Mr. Girton, age 54 of Hartsville, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023, at his home.

Born April 27, 1969, in Bellevue, Ohio, he is the son of the late Donald A. and Elizabeth File Girton.  The last several years, he had worked in garage door repair.  He was a member of Fairview Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Girton.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Clift Girton; daughter, Maril Alyssa Girton (Kristofer A. Hill); sister, Judith (Bill) Crocker; brother, Daniel (Lynne) Girton; mother in law, Brenda C. Tune; sister in law, Maggie (A.J.) Bahou; and several nieces and nephews.
