Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Fish Bowen will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. George Wallace officiating.  Interment Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation Thursday  11 AM until service.

Mrs. Bowen, age 77 of Lebanon passed away September 6, 2021, at Gallatin Health Care.

Born September 17, 1943, in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late Alton and Lexie Ann Raines Fish.  She worked at Robertshaw for twenty six years, and retired from Walmart after twelve years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shelia Marsh.

She is survived by her husband of over fifty nine years, Bro. Kenneth Bowen; two sons, Scott Bowen and Kenny (Teresa) Bowen; two grandsons, Adam Bowen and Blake Bowen; and three sisters, Betty Morgan, Debbie Selby, and Darlene Smith.

    My prayers are with all of Linda’s family. We are thankful for Linda and Bro. Kenneth and all their family. They have been a second family to Alvin. They welcomed him in as one of their own many years ago and have loved him as family. I don’t know what Alvin’s life would be like if not for them. They have given so much to his life; laughter, happiness, joy, love, and a relationship with God. We are forever thankful for Linda, Bro. Kenneth, and family. Alvin will miss her so much. God bless you all.

    Dear Kenneth, Kenny, Scott & family, please accept mine & Joe’s deepest Sympathies at Linda’s Earthly exit for Heaven!!! While I know you will miss her terribly as will all of us who knew & loved her, we can rejoice in knowing that she KNEW Christ as her Savior therefore we can rejoice in His Promise that she is now Perfected in the VERY PRESENCE of our Savior!!!!     My thoughts and prayers are with you at this trying time. I loved Linda and loved sitting in church with her and watching her praise the Lord so this calms me knowing she’s in Heaven for sure. Such a sweetheart. Memories of her will always be with me. Love y’all
