Kenneth Winell “Jack” Winfree

Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Winell “Jack” Winfree will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Suiter and Bro. Mark Caruth officiating.  Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation Monday 4-7 PM and Tuesday after 11 AM at Ligon & Bobo.

Mr. Winfree, age 89 of Lebanon passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Tennova.

Born December 17, 1929, in Dekalb County, he is the son of the late Robert Lee Winfree and Minnie Mae Winnard Winfree.  He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and retired from Tennessee Woolen Mills with forty seven years’ service.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Athalene Barnes and Ruth Minchey; and six brothers: Jamie, Buren, Auburn, Nelson, H. L., and Jewell Winfree.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Marjorie Bibb Winfree; two children: Kenny (Kathy) Winfree and Maleah (Greg) Bell; four grandchildren: Justin (Nicki) Bell, Keith Winfree, Erin (Kyle) Comer, and Lauren (Tyler) Michaels; four great-grandchildren: J. J., Kylie and Dani Bell, and Kelsie Comer; several nieces and nephews.
