Mrs. Johnnie Lee Adams Newcome, age 95 of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday May 14, 2016 at her home.  She was born in Wilson County November 1, 1920 to the late Albert Madison and Elizabeth Ragsdale Adams.  She was of the Pentecostal Faith and worked for the Baptist Sunday School Board as well as Francis & Luskey Company. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Ed Newcome; two grandsons, Johnny Dwayne and Ronnie Ray Newcome; great-grandson, Shane Nathaniel Dillard; and several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Newcome is survived by four children; William “Billy” Newcome, Douglas Newcome, Margie Ann (Kenneth) Corley, and Don (Loretta) Newcome; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Margie Wright.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday May 18, 2016 at 10am from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Denton officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery in Madison, TN.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4pm-8pm and again on Wednesday after 9am at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.
