Jerry “Mack” Metcalf
Mr. Jerry “Mack” Metcalf age 73 of Lebanon died February 23, 2016. He retired from Precision Rubber with thirty eight years of service. He was a volunteer for Wilson Emergency Management Agency since 1965. WEMA dedicated a new ambulance to Jerry for his years of service under former director David Hale. He was a member of Tuckers Cross Roads United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-eight years, Paulette Hesson Metcalf; parents, J.W. and Louise Belcher Metcalf; and brother, Bobby Metcalf.
Survived by three nephews: Brian (Amber) Metcalf, Greg (Angie) Metcalf, Clark McKinney; two nieces: Cindy (Donnie) Pedigo, Becky Fowler; several great-nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Judy (Billy) McKinney; special friends: Barney Smith and Terry Scruggs.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 26, 2016, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Reynolds officiating. Interment – Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Honorary Pallbearers: Employees and Volunteers of WEMA. Active Pallbearers: Keith Taylor, David Hale, Wayne Cowan, Danny Herron, Phil Spears, Richard Haney. Visitation Thursday 2-7 p.m. and Friday after 11 a.m.
