   Hoyal you were always a dear friend to me. I have known you my entire life. Every time we saw one another we talked about life, God, our families…..and always left one another with a handshake and a promise of continued prayer. I won’t get to be at your service on Tuesday because I have to work, but you knew I was your friend. Gonna miss out talks and seeing you at Walmart. Rest well my dear friend! Excited to run those golden streets with you some day.

I, took, look forward to challenging him to a race on those golden streets!! 😉 Can’t wait to see him walking and running, full of life and freedom! What a day of rejoicing that will be!

     Oh, thank you Ms. Jane! He sure thought a lot of you as well! Thank you for staying in touch with him and for being a special part of his Lifeway career, and his life. We love and miss him immensely – God is faithful and we are leaning into His peace and comfort.

    Julia, I was so saddened to hear about your sweet Daddy’s passing. I don’t have to remind you of what an amazing person he was. Never saw him at Walmart that he didn’t have a smile and always said ” Hello Joann ” …. years ago I would always correct him and say ” Joanna ” but he always continue to call me Joann He was a fine upstanding member of the community always wanting to help someone…. But most of all he was a fine upstanding Christian. I remember as far back when we were all kids we would all come to Bible School and church….what wonderful memories we share then and all through the years. We will all meet again someday if we remain true to our serving the Lord. He always love hearing Jim saying and now he’s up there now rejoicing with Jim singing together around God’s throne…. oh the Splendor we have to look forward to. I won’t be able to be at his service but please no that you and the entire family are in my prayers during this difficult time. I love you sweet girl.

    I’m so sorry to hear this news. I worked at Lifeway, not directly with Hoyal but out paths would cross quite often. He was always always so friendly and helpful. I always called him Hughland and he never corrected me. Lol. It wasn’t until we both left Lifeway and I overheard someone at Walmart call him Hoyal that I knew his name. He was always so kind, even to an idiot that called him Hughland. May Gods peace be with you.
