Funeral services for Mr. Houston Dedman will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Burns officiating.  Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation Friday 2-8 PM and Saturday after 11 AM at Ligon & Bobo.  Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Dedman, age 88 of Lebanon passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at Quality Care.

Born November 15, 1928, in Wilson County, he is the son of the late Sidney Roy and Lula Mae Andrews Dedman Sr.  He was a lifelong farmer and a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Houston Dedman; brother, Roy Dedman Jr.; and three sisters, Estelle Chaffin, Kathleen Holland, and Ruby Brewington.

He is survived by his wife of sixty six years, Kathryne Bingham Dedman; four children, Jerry (Carol) Dedman, Sandra Kay (Mike) Montgomery, Ricky (Dewanda) Dedman, and Lisa Mae Lokey; brother, Wayne (Ann) Dedman; and four sisters, Frances Bradshaw, Beatrice Hallums, Christine Adams, and Delores (James) Binion; and thirteen grandchildren, Brian Dedman, Kim (Kerry) Weiser, Ronda (Derrick) Whitley, Brad Dedman, Stephen (Liz) Dedman, Jeff Dedman, Jessica (Brandon) Smith, Casey (Zach) Rowe, Kyle (Stefanie) Dedman, Patrick Dedman, Kristen Dedman, Brandon (Cara) Lokey, and Brooke (Jake) Weldy; 16 great grandchildren.
