Gerard Andrew “Gerry” Serafin

Mr. Gerard Andrew “Gerry” Serafin age 71 of Lebanon passed away October 31, 2021, at Summit Medical Center.  Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Eugene and Helen Czopek Serafin.  He attended Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.  He retired from Jewel Food Stores with fifty-two years of service.  He loved to read and garden.  He also loved to fish and was an avid college football fan.  During his retirement he enjoyed building butterfly and bird houses to pass the time.

He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Mary Wieland Serafin; two children:  Shane Eugene Serafin, Margaret Mary (Matt) Gartner; sister, Diane Halas.
