Ernest Randall “Randy” Farmer

Mr. Ernest Randall “Randy” Farmer age 57 of Lebanon passed away March 20, 2023, at TriStar Summit Medical Center.  Born in Wilson County, TN, he was the son of the late Floyd Edwin Farmer and Sally Lancaster Farmer.  Randy graduated from Lebanon High School and was a member of Fairview Church where he served as a deacon.

He is survived by sister, Diane Everett; several nieces and great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great-nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters:  Brenda Sue Travis, Sondra Renee Farmer; brother, Ronald Edwin Farmer.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 24, 2023, at 1 p.m. from the Fairview Church, 1660 Leeville Pike, Lebanon, with Pastor Brandt Waggoner and Bro. Bryan Shofner officiating.  Interment – Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Active Pallbearers:  David Bush, Richard Gammon, Jerry McTaggart, Bob Allen, Corey Ross, Bradley Alvarado; Honorary Pallbearers: Deacons of Fairview Church, Gammon Sunday School Class.  Visitation Friday 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Fairview Church.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ligon & Bobo to help with expenses.

    Randy’s gentle spirit and kindness will be missed in this world. His life was a battle but he just excepted and moved on. He faced so many hardships in life, but was strong, he had to be. We can all learn so much from him. He was a true son of Christ

    We are saddened to hear of Randy’s passing. We delivered meals to him weekly and he always greeted us with a smile and kind words. Randy never complained and you knew without doubt he loved the Lord. Today he is perfectly healthy and happy. He was an inspiration and we will miss not seeing him. Prayers and condolences to all his family and friends.
