Elizabeth Irene Hollis Woodliff

Graveside service for Mrs. Elizabeth Irene Hollis Woodliff will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Bro. Kevin Medlin officiating.  Visitation Wednesday 3-7 PM and Thursday from 10:00 – 10:45 A.M. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.  Pallbearers: Tommy Woodliff, Jeff Garrett, Noah Woodliff, Stanley Bryan, Tommy Clemmons, Rick Porter, Jimmy Porter, and Ed Hix.

Mrs. Woodliff, age 94 of Lebanon passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Hearthside.

Born August 7, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Freeman and Myrtle Sullins Hollis.  She worked for the City of Lebanon Public Works Department as an Administrative Assistant for over thirty years.  She was a member of Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Woodliff Jr. on March 7, 1975; and three sisters, Kay Hollis, Ann Hix, and Peggy Hollis.

She is survived by two children: Tommy Woodliff and Margaret (Jeff) Garrett; two grandchildren: Noah Woodliff and Keaton Alexa Woodliff; and sister, Nellie Smith.

Memorials may be made to the Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church or to Hearthside.
