   Eddie was a great friend during high school and college. We had many wonderful times, and I am deeply saddened to know his life has ended too soon. I will miss him.

   My thoughts and prayers are with Ed’s family and friends during this difficult time. I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Ed’s passing because Ed was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. He was my manager for many years at Square D in Raleigh, and I am very honored to have known him. He was kind hearted and always had a smile for you. I think I will miss that smile the most, but I know he is up there in heaven smiling down on us all…..and probably playing golf. We will miss you Ed!

   I have known Ed both as a Professional and as a golfing partner. He was a personal friend whom I admired. I wish the family my sincerest condolences.

    I was shocked by this sad news… I have ever worked in US for 2 years, Ed was one of my team members. I deeply appreicated his professionalism and collaboration during that period…. Rest in peace my friend Ed.

    My thoughts and prayers are with Ed’s family during this time of sorrow. Ed was a great mentor for me here at Square D many years ago. It is sad that he has left us too soon, but he gave so much of himself to others that he will be remembered forever as a rich man.

    We have known him for many years in Asheville and in Raleigh.
    I (Horace) have worked with, and for him until retirement.

    It was so hard to hear the news of Ed’s passing. He was our first dear friend upon moving to North Carolina in 1984. We have so many great and cherished memories with him. He was Uncle Ed to our children. We loved his kind heart, his quick smile, so many things. He was one of those friends that no matter how much time had passed, when you spoke or saw each other, it was like no time had passed. Sadly, way too much time passed since last we saw or spoke to one another. We will miss you, Ed, and think of you often until we see you again.

    My dad (Harry) & Ed had been really good friends at Square D and on the golf course since I was a preteen (80’s). Ed was a part of our family for many years and it was only natural for him to come to my wedding (’95). I will miss asking my Dad how Ed is doing in conversation.
