Doyle Isaac Tomlinson
Mr. Doyle Isaac Tomlinson age 53 a lifelong resident of the Beasley’s Bend Community passed away December 31, 2023, at Summit Medical Center. He was the son of the late Isaac Means Tomlinson, Jr. and Peggy Marie Birchett Tomlinson. He was a 1988 graduate of Lebanon High School and was a member of the Corinth Church of Christ in Beasley’s Bend. Doyle was a truck driver for Grade A Construction. Always willing to help someone in need, Doyle was known for his easy going personality.
Survivors include sister, Donna (Walter) Neal; brother, Rick (Ketty) Tomlinson; nephews and nieces: Brent (Taite) Neal and daughters Addie and Olivia, Lindsey Neal and Harper and Willow, Abby, Caleb and Sarah Tomlinson; aunt, Betty Cassetty; uncle, Buford (Pam) Birchett; numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Mike Vaughn officiating. Interment – Jackson Cemetery in Beasley’s Bend. Pallbearers: Chris Thompson, Jerry Loftis, James Young, Ray Birchett, Brent Neal, Todd McCrary. Visitation Thursday 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

We would have stopped by in person but our 1st grandbaby is being born today. 🙂
He was in our wedding in 1990 at Hurricane Baptist Church.
At the time he worked at Krogers with Jimmy.
He drove a little low riding red Chevy S10 and he had to have a friend bring him to the wedding because of the gravel road. 🙂
Something else funny was that the shoes that came with his tux were the wrong size and God love him his toes were scrunched up through the wedding but he was right there for Jimmy and never complained not the first time.
He was a great guy. I know he will be greatly missed.
