David McKim Glenn

Mr. David McKim Glenn age 77 of Lebanon passed away October 10, 2020.  He was born in St. Louis, MO, son of the late Gene Garner Glenn and Jean Tiffany Thompson Glenn.  He received his MBA from the University of Missouri.  He was a decorated Vietnam War veteran serving two tours of duty in Vietnam with the 3rd BN 506th Infantry 101st Airborne Division.  He served with U.S. Army Special Forces as a First Lieutenant.  His awards and decorations included two Bronze Star medals with “V” device, two Purple Heart medals, National Defense Service Medal, three overseas Service Bars and the Combat Infantryman’s Badge.  His qualifications included the Special Forces Combat Diver, Static Line Jumpmaster and Airborne.  He retired as sales manager for the Boeing Corporation and was a member of the Episcopal Church of The Epiphany in Lebanon.

He is survived by his wife, Nechama “Nicky” Lubin Glenn; two daughters:  Meredith (David) Chamberlain, and Avery Glenn; step-daughter, Siobhan Waitzman; three grandchildren:  David, Elizabeth and Bowden Chamberlain; sister, Julie (Steve) Heacock; brother, Jeff (Barbara) Glenn.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be held in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.  The family request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Homes for Our Troops.
