Bobby G. Gammons
Graveside service for Mr. Bobby G. Gammons will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Bro. F. H. Gates officiating. Visitation Friday 2-7 PM and Saturday 9:00 – 10:30 A.M. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.
Mr. Gammons, age 91 of Mount Juliet passed away October 18, 2023, at Summit Medical Center.
Born March 2, 1932, in Wilson County, he is the son of the late Bart and Media Davenport Dalton. He served in the United States Air Force, and was a member of Madison Church of Christ. He retired from Dupont with over thirty six years’ service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of sixty two years, Mae Frances Ingram Gammons on August 27, 2014, and three sisters, Ruby Crowley, Judy Bomar, and Virginia Freeman.
He is survived by three children: Patricia Diane Gammons (Rick Rowell), Michael Gammons (Millie), and Donald Gammons; grandchildren: Nicole Gammons Starkey (Jared), Travis Dedmon (Lynnsey), and Henry Crawford; great grandchildren: Camilla & Marshall Dedmon, Kimmie Crawford, and Blake Stephens.
