Ann Richardson Kolbe
Mrs. Ann Richardson Kolbe age 97 a longtime resident of Donelson passed away December 19, 2023, at her home. She was born in Smith County, TN, daughter of the late Lussie and Mamie Bell Richardson. During her working career she worked several jobs including: Bellar Furniture, she worked as secretary for Perry Johnson and Judge Tom Sexton, she then spent several years working at Commerce Union Bank and finally retiring from Dr. Hurt’s office in Donelson. She was a member of Donelson Church of Christ and frequently attended Saturn Drive Baptist Church with her husband John.
She was preceded in death by brother, Johnny Eugene (June) Richardson; sisters-in-law: Dorothy (Wes) Thompson, Debbie Kolbe, Emma (Ed) Allison; brothers-in-law: Charles Kolbe, William “Bill” (Ruth) Kolbe.
Survivors include her husband of over seventy years, John Clinton Kolbe; son, John Kevin (Lisa) Kolbe; three grandchildren: Brandon (Jenna) Kolbe, Ashland Kolbe, Elias Kolbe; brothers-in-law, Robert (Charlotte) Kolbe, Gerald Kolbe; sister-in-law, Brenda Kolbe; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, DECEMBER 26, 2023, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Brandon Kolbe, Jack Kolbe, Mark Blackwood, Wes Kolbe, Robert Kolbe and Jody Ussery.
