James Ronald “Ron” Patton

Ron PattonFuneral services for Mr. James Ronald “Ron” Patton will be 12:00 Noon Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Bro. Kenneth Tramel officiating.  Interment will follow at Bryan Cemetery in Shop Springs.  Visitation Tuesday 4-8 PM and Wednesday after 10 AM at Immanuel Baptist Church.

Mr. Patton, age 57 of Watertown passed away at 9:00 A.M. Monday, December 21, 2015, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO from injuries resulting from a semi-truck accident on December 16, 2015.

Born November 13, 1958, in Lebanon, he is the son of the late W. T. and Mae Nelle Malone Patton.  He worked at Con-Way Freight for twenty six years.  He has been a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for twenty two years.  He also was a member of the GWRRA, Chapter L motorcycle group.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by and older sister, Joyce Underwood.

He is survived by his wife of thirty three years, Teri Koon Patton; two children, Tyler (Rachael) Patton and Brittany (Chaz) Poole of Gallatin all of Gallatin; twin brother, Donald (Stephanie) Patton of Lebanon; sister, Kay (John) Quintero of Smithville.  He was known as Grand Daddy by Wilson and Riley, Tyler and Rachael’s children.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

    Ron was a great friend I worked with him 26 yrs we rode motorcycle together
    We went on many memorable motorcycle rides it hasn’t sunk in yet that he is gone he will be dearly missed by many people
