Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Mae Jackson Moore will be 11:00 AM Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Bro, Donald Owens and Bro. Tom Suiter officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home Wednesday 2:00 – 6:00 PM and Thursday at Immanuel Baptist Church after 10 AM.
Mrs. Moore, age 87 of Lebanon passed away Monday, February 2, 2015, at Lebanon Health & Rehab.
Born September 24, 1927, in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late Herman and Helen Gertrude Davis Jackson. She worked for many years at Lebanon Garment Company, LUX Clock, and Hartmann Luggage. She retired from Hargrove Office Supply. She was a charter member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday school and served in many other capacities. She had served on the Wilson County Fair Board, and served as president of the Lebanon B & PW.
She is survived by her husband of sixty eight years, Johnnie Lee Moore; daughter, Lynda (Royce) O’Neal of Murfreesboro; grandson, Bruce (Tammy) O’Neal of Huntsville, AL; granddaughter, Roslyn (Todd) Anderson of Powder Springs, GA; three great grandchildren, Nolan Anderson, Claire O’Neal, and Lucy Anderson; brother, Johnny Jackson of Texas; two nephews, Tony Jackson of Michigan, and Wayne Jackson of Colorado; and sister in law, Dorothy Moore of College Grove, TX.
