Tommy Hearn

Funeral service for Mr. Tommy Hearn will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Phil Hearn, Larry Conatser, Paul Crockett, and Steven Earl Hearn officiating.  Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Visitation Monday 3-7 PM and Tuesday after 10 AM.

Mr. Hearn, age 80 of Lebanon passed away January 3, 2026, at his nephews home in Bartlett, Tennessee.

He was born Thomas Nelson Hearn on July 14, 1945, in Wilson County, to the late Stephen Earl Hearn and Nellye Elizabeth Burge Hearn.  He was a 1964 graduate of Lebanon High School, and was a Baptist.  He worked at AVCO for several years, and retired from owning and operating Tommy Hearn Hardwood Floors.  He was an installer and finisher of hardwood floors for over fifty years.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of fifty five years, Nelda Walls Hearn on November 1, 2021; brothers, Stephen Earl Hearn Jr., Sam Hearn, and Jack Hearn; and sisters, Sue Hardy Hearn, Nella Belle Smith, Anne Pruitte, Milbrey Sayre, Elizabeth Hearn, Judy Haskins, and Leila Dies.

He is survived by his brother, Dr. Phillip Hearn, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers: Mike Rutledge, Charles Rutledge, Bobby Hickerson, and Phil Hearn.

Active pallbearers: Hunter Hearn, Larry Conatser, Matthew Hearn, Steven Earl Hearn, Paul Crockett, Mike Hearn, Mike Walls, and Tony Walls.
