Funeral service for Mrs. Shirley Ann Evans will be 12:00 Noon, Monday, March 18, 2024, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Elliott officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Mausoleum in Nashville. Visitation Monday 10 AM – 12 Noon at Ligon & Bobo.
Mrs. Evans, age 69 of the Commerce Community in Wilson County passed away March 13, 2024, at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital.
Born June 6, 1954, in Davidson County, she is the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel Patterson Leach. She was a sales associate at Goodwill for over twenty years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Evans in 2019; two sisters, Gail Usleton and Nancy Leach; and a brother, Jimmy Leach.
She is survived by two children: Tabitha (Darryl) Friar and James (Amy) Buttrey; two grandchildren: Craig Riggins and Ryan (Hannah) Buttrey; great grandson, Owen James Buttrey; sister, Brenda (Joe) Joslin; and brother, Terry Leach.
