Randall Lee Hill

Funeral service for Mr. Randall Lee Hill will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin White officiating.  Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Visitation Sunday 1-3 PM.

Mr. Hill, age 77 of Lebanon passed away February 6, 2025, at Quality Care.

Born August 20, 1947, in Wilson County, he is the son of the late Ace Lee Hill and Elizabeth Patton Hill.  He was a school teacher for thirty years having taught at West Elementary, Watertown Elementary, Southside Elementary, and Carroll Oakland.  He was a member of Berea Church of Christ.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Hill.

He is survived by his wife of over fifty two years, Linda Nichols Hill; son, Randy Lee Hill; and sister in law, Ann Hill.

      I had the pleasure of getting to teach with Randall for several years at Carroll Oakland. He such an outgoing personality and a great sense of humor.

    My dad really enjoyed teaching with Jeff Garrett and told me on many occasions that you are a good friend and I also want to thank Glenda Taylor and everyone for their postings, kind words, and prayers.

    Prayers for the family, Mr Hill was always my favorite teacher and a great guy! I always enjoyed seeing him out in town and catching up. He was always so nice to and I will always remember the great things that he taught me and the way he would put a story in your head about what he was talking about. I will always smile when I remember Mr Hill❤️

    Prayers for the family. He was my 5th grade teacher at Carroll Oakland school. He was an awesome teacher. I work at Home Depot and the first time he saw me one day. He remembered who I was.
