Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Brown Denson will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 28, 2025, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Stan Edwards officiating.  Interment Conatser Cemetery.  Visitation Monday 10 AM – 1 PM at Ligon & Bobo

Mrs. Denson, age 86 of Lebanon passed away April 25, 2025, at Smith County Health and Rehabilitation.

Born November 15, 1938, in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late Jack and Lillian Roberta Hobbs Brown.  She worked in housekeeping for many years at Quality Care and Margie Anna Nursing Homes.  She was a long time chicken farmer for Edwards Hatchery.  She loved to sew, cook, work puzzle word books, but most of all be with her family. She was a Baptist.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James Alvin “Bill” Denson in 1972 and Tommy Bybee in 2020; sister, Jo Ann Snyder; brother, Robert Smith; granddaughter, Amanda Denson; and great grandson Cody Biggs.

She is survived by four sons: Leslie (Margaret) Denson; Billy (Teresa Ann) Denson Sr.; Ellis (Teresa G.) Denson; and Howard (Kathy) Denson; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and a large number of step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
