Mrs. Marie Stewart "Re Re" Parrish age 95 passed away August 11, 2019.  A native of Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Stewart and Cora Belle Bond Stewart. She lived in the same home on Bender's Ferry for seventy-seven years.   She was a member of LaGuardo Baptist Church and retired from Lebanon Garment Co. after forty-seven years of service.  She was well known for her gardening and loved growing tomatoes.  She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, John Thomas "Buster" Parrish; two sisters:  Helen Ragland, Cora Ella Stanford; brother, John W. Stewart.

She is survived by nieces and nephews:  Donna Hall, Debbie (Lee) Beeman, Tea Stockton, Phylus Redmon, Jim (Lynn) Ragland, Ronnie (Kris) Stewart, Billy Joe (Arlice) Sanford.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at 2 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Rev. Carl N. Price officiating.  Interment – Stewart Family Cemetery at LaGuardo.  Pallbearers:   Eld. Ronnie Stewart, Chad Hall, Brandt Dooley, Raymond McDaniel, Billy Joe Sanford, Lee Beeman.  Visitation Wednesday 12 Noon- 2 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo.
