Lonnie “Jojo” Joseph Blansit II
Mr. Lonnie “Jojo” Joseph Blansit II age 32 of Lebanon; It is with the most heartbreak that we announce our beloved Jojo Has passed away July 27, 2024, after his battle at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Born December 12, 1991, in Lebanon, TN, he was always the funniest brightest boy, graduated from Wilson Central High School in 2010, fell in love with cooking at a young age went on to culinary school at Sullivan University. After meeting his college sweetheart they married in 2015. They welcomed their miracle girl at 26 weeks weighing 1 lb 15oz named Kennedy. Jojo was a loving father, husband, son, brother, uncle, grandson, cousin and friend. He was the best husband and father and loved his girls fiercely. Chef Jojo was the executive chef at Sammy B’s in his hometown for years and had many accomplishments cooking in his career.
He is survived by his parents: Sonya (Dusty) Barnard and Lonnie (Keri) Blansit; wife of nine years, Nicole, daughter, Kennedy; grandparents, Mike and Wanda McPeak; siblings: Chelsey (Tyler) Blansit, Kortney (Keyon) Blansit, Gemma Laurent, Kade Barnard, Dawson (Lauren) Parker, Bryce Parker, Kyle (Shelby) Murphy; nephews: Tatum and Tucker Josey, Pets: Tessa, Dixie and Barbie. He was preceded in death by Donna Mathis and his angel baby.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 6 p.m. at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Spickard officiating. Visitation Thursday 4-6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family at http://spot.fund/393hxsc
