Kylan Taylor Leeper

Mr. Kylan Taylor Leeper, age 25 of Lebanon, passed from this life into his eternal home on Friday October 6, 2023 at Trousdale County Medical Center in Hartsville, TN. Kylan was born September 24, 1998 in Davidson County, to Timothy Bryan Leeper, II and Alanna Johnson Leeper. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Anthony Johnson; maternal great grandfather, Billy Clyde Johnson; maternal great- great-grandmother, Edna Cherry York; maternal uncle, Johnathan Martin; paternal great-grandparents, Judy & Leon Leeper and George & Ophie Osment.

As a young man, Kylan received Christ Jesus as his Lord and Savior and was baptized into the fellowship of LaGuardo Baptist Church. Later on he attended the Bridge Fellowship in Lebanon with his family. Kylan was raised in a loving home and was always such a fun and energetic child. He attended Lebanon High School, and was an avid lover of baseball and softball. Kylan enjoyed being outdoors, and spent many days fishing and “pond hopping” with his friends. He would spend hours crafting and tinkering with new fishing lures and playing with his fishing tackle. Kylan proved to be a decent hunter, and was a fantastic shot with a hunting rifle. He and his brother would often go rabbit hunting and he took the opportunity to brag on his skills to anyone who would listen. Kylan was great at creating things and working with his hands. Later in life, he went to work with his dad in the family business, learning the skills of his father as a roofing contractor.

He is survived by his parents, Timothy “Tim” Bryan Leeper, II. and Alanna Johnson Leeper; son, Kylan Taylor Leeper, Jr.; brother, Kolton Anthony Leeper; maternal grandmothers, Martha Taylor and Kendra Swaffer Johnson; maternal great-grandmother, Frances “Granny” York Johnson; paternal grandmothers, Georgie Osment and Shelley Leeper; paternal grandfather Tim Leeper, Sr.; aunts, Andrea Martin-Willie (Jarrad), Tara Litchford (Justin), Hanna Roberts (Matt), and Annalisa Lewis (Justin); uncles, Nickey Leeper and Bryan Leeper (Bailee); a host of extended family and friends also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled to be conducted on Thursday October 12, 2023 at 2:00PM from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Butler and Bro. Jim Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday October 11, 2023 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM and again on Thursday from 11:00AM until service time. A private family interment will take place in Anderson & Son Memorial Park in Lafayette, TN. Pallbearers will be: Kolton Leeper, Tim Leeper, Sr., Jeff Johnson, Price Trammel, Isaac Smith, Bryan Leeper, Nickey Leeper, and Nicholas Hamlin.
