Kim Rollins White
Mrs. Jay Kimberly “Kim” Rollins White, age 60 of Lebanon, passed away on Monday April 29, 2024 at her home, surrounded by family and friends. Mrs. White was born May 7, 1963 in Smith County, TN to the late Mr. J.C. Rollins and Mrs. Fay Langford Rollins. Kim was a 1981 graduate of Smith County High School. She went to work as the Deputy Court Clerk in Wilson County working in the Circuit Court and the County Court, and retired after having served in that position for 20 years. Mrs. White was a member of Westland United Methodist Church.
Kim loved softball. In her spare time she would watch whichever game she could find on television. She played for many years until her health prevented her. Kim not only played the sport, but coached numerous local teams. Perhaps the thing she loved more than softball was her family. Family, and close friends, were very important to her. She loved life and was an excellent wife, mother, daughter, and friend. Kim will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 28 years, Jay White; sons, Christopher Ross (Michelle) Eskew, Jay Hayden (Caroline) White; mother, Fay Langford Rollins; grandchildren, Jackson, Oakley, & J.T. Eskew; sisters, Sandra Weatherford and Teresa (Rick) Gross; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 2, 2024 at 11:00AM from the Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church (522 Castle Heights Ave. Lebanon, TN 37087). Bro. Todd Elliott will officiate, and interment will follow at Caraway Cemetery in Gladeville. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday May 1, 2024 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home and again on Thursday after 10:00AM at Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests memorial contributions to be made to the “Christian Education Fund” of Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
