David N. Denney

Funeral service for Mr. David N. Denney will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Wendell Byrd and Chris Weeks officiating.  Private interment will be at the Denney Family Cemetery.  Visitation Friday 2-8 PM and Saturday after 11 AM at Ligon & Bobo.

Mr. Denney, age 71 of Lebanon passed away October 23, 2024, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

Born April 11, 1953, in Wilson County, he is the son of the late Leon Nixon Denney and Carolyn Lannom Denney.  He graduated from Castle Heights Military Academy in 1971, and was a member of the Church of Christ.  He owned and operated Denney Trucking since 1974.

He is survived by his wife of thirty six years, Brenda Vanatta Denney; son and daughter in law, Joe and Joey Denney; two grandsons, Cole & Zane Denney; and brother, William (Barbara) Denney.
