Funeral service for Cheryl L. Thompson will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Stirnemann officiating. Interment will follow at the Family Cemetery. Visitation Saturday 2-6 PM and Sunday after 12 Noon at Ligon & Bobo.
Cheryl, age 47 of Nashville passed away March 12, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
She was born October 19, 1977, in Wilson County. She was a graduate of MTSU, and was an elementary school teacher for many years.
She is survived by her parents, Steve & Mary Gwyn Veazie Thompson; sister, Amy (Chuck) Morris; nephew, Morgan Morris; several aunts, uncles & cousins.
