Mrs. Charlotte Faye Garrett Greer age 78 of Lebanon passed away peacefully May 27, 2024, at her home following a brief battle with cancer.  Born October 17, 1945 in Wilson County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Truman Lawrence Garrett and Charlotte Alene Hankins Garrett. She was a graduate of Lebanon High School and attended business school in Nashville.  She was a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ.  In her working career she worked several different jobs, and was a homemaker most of her adult life but her favorite title was being a “Mema”.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Riley Howard Greer Jr., in 2019; grandson, Weston Hunter Greer; brother, Jimmy Garrett.

Survivors include:  two sons:  Stephen (Tammy) Greer, Jason (Allison) Greer; eight grandchildren:  Dylan (Bella) Greer, Mitchell Greer, Tatum (Amber) Dailey, Ethan (Kacy) Greer, Bryson, Mason, Jayci and Jessi Greer; four great-grandchildren:  Emery and Eisley Daily, Meyer and Max Greer; special friends:  Rhonda Squires, Charlotte Holman and Sandy Lane.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home in Lebanon with Wayne P. Lankford officiating.  Interment will follow in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.  Special thanks to Dr. Lauren Prescott and Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center.  Visitation Wednesday 4-7 p.m. and Thursday after 11 a.m.
