Funeral service for Miss Carolyn Sue Green will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home. Interment Hurricane Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation Saturday 10 AM- 1 PM.
Miss Green, age 69 passed away September 29, 2024.
Born September 1, 1955, in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late John Ewing Green and Ina Hudson Green. She worked at Quality Care in housekeeping for many years, and was a member of Hurricane Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Ann Green, two brothers, John Green Jr. and Arthur Ray Green; and brother in law, Kenneth Joe Ricketts.
She is survived by two sisters, Darlene Ricketts and Bettye Green; niece, Tiffany (Kenny) Key; nephews, Joey Ricketts and James Ricketts; great nieces, Hannah Ricketts, Savannah (William) Tucker, and Sienna Ricketts; several great great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to help with funeral expenses.
