William Started working on our cars in 1984. He was a good friend and was so reliable. Recently my granddaughterwas moving from Colorado to Alabama, her car broke down so they towed it to Lebanon for William to fix. He did. He was the only person we knew that would be honest with us and do the job right. We will miss you William.
  15. Gigi Goodwin says:
I never met William, but my daughter, Joanne Foster always spoke highly of him. I know he fixed their jeep recently after another company had worked on it. I was always grateful to him for fixing David’s jeep even though I didn’t know him. I’m so sorry to hear about his passing. Our prayers are with the family.

  17. CHARLES SMITH & Jeannette Smith says:
We were devastated of William passing. He has been my mechanic for a very long time and true friend to my husband and I. He will be greatly miss by all who knew and loved him. To his wife and children there are no words that can help you in this time of sorrow, but I do know one thing God will help you, and your memories are there forever. This has been so shocking to me , because I thought it no other mechanic can tell me what is wrong with my car. I told him to dropped me off at the Health Department and charge Charles for the labor. He pick me up when he was finished, and charge Charles for the Labor. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
May God bless the family as an whole.

    Jeannette & Charles Smith

  18. Pat Lyle says:
Heaven gained another angel and a damn good mechanic. William was a great man who will be missed. Prayers for you all
  19. Chris churchwell says:
My dad (Charlie Churchwell) introduced me to Mr. Carmack about twenty years ago. He was a good man that instantly made you feel comfortable. Always going above and beyond to do the right thing. The only times we disagreed was when I did not think he was charging me enough for some repairs. Well, we lost Dad a couple of years ago. Now there is another hole that cannot be filled, not because he cannot work on our vehicles any longer, but because he was just a good person. He will be missed.
Mr. Carmack, Maybe you and Dad can relax and catch some fish….. RIP
