  4. Joyce Jackson Adams says:
    Dear Sue,
I happened on Sarah’s obit while searching for someone who had been at Ligon & Bobos this week.
I had often wondered what had happened to you girls.
You may not remember me but I was the pianist at FBC, Cookeville when you were at TTU. I’ve often
thought of you both over the years and thanks to our
Father’s planning, I look forward to seeing you again “someday”,
Bill and I came back to Cookeville many years ago and
we have a preacher son and a preacher son-in-law and
our daughter is a RN and married to a preacher.
Our son, Tim, was at NOBTS from 1977 until he graduated. Can’t help but wonder if he and Sarah crossed paths in Ft. Worth.
Most of the group is already gone—Mary Helen White,
Carlyle Smith, George McKay, Maxine White and all of them to Alzheimer’s. They lived in Huntsville, AL and now my granddaughter and her husband have been in Huntsville.
I wish you well and comforting days until we all meet
    in heaven.
    Best regards,
    Joyce Adams
    ever since we parted
  5. Joyce Jackson Adams says:
Oops! I didn’t mean to type in NOBTS in the other writing.
That was where our son-in-law graduated from. Tim and Faith were in Fort Worth.
Thank goodness my dementia problems will be healed
one of these days. It’s not really bad, I guess, but I’m
embarrassed when I can’t think straight.
    Joyce
