sally farmerFuneral services for Ms. Sally Farmer, age 83 of Lebanon, will be held on Thursday September 3, 2015 at 10:00 am at Fairview Church (1660 Leeville Pike Lebanon, TN 37087).  Pastor Jon Akin will officiate and interment will follow in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday September 2, 2015 from 11am-8pm at Ligon and Bobo Funeral Home and again on Thursday after 9am at Fairview Church.

Ms. Farmer passed away on Monday August 31, 2015 at Quality Care in Lebanon.  Born in Louisville, KY on February 18, 1932, she was the youngest of seven children.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy H. and Stella Gibson Lancaster; son, Ronald Farmer; and daughter, Sondra Renee Farmer.  Ms. Sally retired from Precision Rubber with 17 years of service, and later retired from Wal-Mart having worked 28 years.  She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

She leaves behind her three children, Linda Diane Everett, Brenda Sue Travis, and Ernest Randall “Randy” Farmer; grandchildren, Debbie Jones, Stacy (Rob) Hollis, Tina (Armando) Alvarado, and Dishan (William) Smith; great-grandchildren, Hailey Burton, Steven Hollis, Samuel Hollis, Sophia Hollis, and Eric Alvarado.

The family would like to especially thank the nurses and staff at Quality Care for their kindness and compassionate care.

Pallbearers: Roy Poole, Steven Hollis, Samuel Hollis, Rob Hollis, Eric Alvarado, David Travis, Tommy Hearn, and Phillip Hearn.

The “Gleaners Sunday School Class” of Fairview Church will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
