Rebecca Jane Gann Waldrum

crop obitMrs. Rebecca Jane Gann Waldrum, age 62 of Lebanon passed away Monday, February 22, 2016, at her home.

Born February 23, 1953, in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late Johnny Franklin Gann Sr. and Velma Catherine Wilson Gann.  She was a retired nurse having worked for several local doctors for many years.  She was a member of Christian Life Chapel.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Devon Waldrum who passed away on December 16, 2014.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Robert and Rachel Guffey; two granddaughters, Florence Olivia Guffey and Emily Katherine Guffey; and three brothers, Johnny (Nancy) Gann, Carlos (Judy) Gann, and Delbert Gann.

A memorial service will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the Christian Life Chapel, 105 Holloway Drive, Lebanon with Pastor Jamie Watson officiating.  Visitation will be from 11 AM until service at church.

    I can’t find words to express how much Becky mean’t to me, she was a friend from day one, the love she showed to everyone was truly from God. Loosing her mother at such a young age with 3 brothers who are wonderful also but she never, ever lost that smile and soft spoken voice she shared with everyone she came in contact with. I love her dearly and have thought about her many, many times. She loved my grandmother and Mamo sure loved her too. Blessing to her family, precious memories you need to continue sharing.
