Co-Owner, Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

David was the Valedictorian of the 1988 graduating class of John A. Gupton College of Mortuary Science in Nashville. Upon graduating he successfully passed the Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards National Board Exam and became licensed in 1988. He has been the Co-owner of Ligon & Bobo since November 1993. David and his wife Melani have two sons, Adam and John. He is a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church, the Wilson County Fair Board, the Fiddlers Grove Foundation. He is a past member of the Wilson Bank and Trust Community Council.

Walter Clark McKinney

Clark is a 1989 graduate of John A. Gupton College in Nashville. He successfully passed the Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards National Board Exam following graduation. He became licensed in 1990. He is a member of the North Carthage Missionary Baptist Church and is a supporter of Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage. He is a member and Past President of the Lebanon Breakfast Rotary Club and is a Paul Harris Fellow. He was appointed by Governor Phil Bredesen in 2009 to the State of Tennessee Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers. He served as Board President and Continuing Education Liaison in 2012. He was reappointed to the Board in 2017 by Governor Bill Haslam. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association.

Patricia Fleming

Pat joined our staff in 2022. She retired in 2014 from Cracker Barrel Corporate Office after twenty-four years of service as Manager of Benefits for all Cracker Barrel employees. Pat attends Hillcrest Baptist Church and has been a member there for more than forty-five years. She was married to Ray Fleming for fifty years before he passed away in 2020. She has one daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Randy Lamberson and four granddaughters that she adores, Autumn, Avery, Hadlee and Preslee.

Jason W Ligon

Jason is a native of Wilson County. He is a 2004 graduate of Lebanon High School and a 2006 graduate of John A. Gupton College in Nashville. After graduating he successfully passed the National Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards National Board Exam and became licensed in 2009. Jason and his wife Amie are members of Barton’s Creek Baptist Church where Jason serves as the Minister of Music. He is a member of the Comer Lodge #417 in Watertown. He is the assistant director for the Bert Coble Singers Concert Choir. Their annual Christmas dinner shows at Cumberland University raise money for local community charities.

Taylor G Badger

Taylor is Vice President of the 2005 graduating class of Trousdale County High School and a 2006 graduate with honors of John A. Gupton College of Mortuary Science in Nashville. After graduating, he successfully passed the Conference of Funeral Service Examining Board’s National Board Exam and became licensed in 2008. Taylor and his wife, Brooke, have two sons, Mason and Maddox. They attend the Journey Church in Lebanon.

Claudean Bissinger

Claudean joined our staff in 2009. She retired from Sun Trust Bank after thirty years of service and then worked with her late husband Charlie, in the family business, Charlie’s Tire Store. She attends Maple Hill Church of Christ. She has served on the Wilson Bank and Trust Community Council and volunteered for the American Red Cross. She has one son, Don (Mandy) Winfree; and three grandsons: Cole, Matthew and Maddux Winfree.

Wayne Foster

In Memory (1938-2022)
Wayne joined our staff in 2001 after retiring from First American Bank with forty-four years’ of service. He and his wife Carolyn have three children: Laurie (Ian) Kincaid, John (Casey) Foster, and Chuck Foster and four grandchildren: Drew and Emily Kincaid, Ashley and Karli Foster. He is a member of the Gladeville United Methodist Church and is the sexton of the Caraway Cemetery in Gladeville.
Wayne passed away on December 19, 2022.
