Osko H. Graves

gravesMr. Osko H. Graves age 94 of Lebanon died February 11, 2015 at Quality Care Nursing Home.  A native of Wilson County, he was the son of the late Wilburn and Sulu Mann Graves.  He was a member of Fairview Church.  A U.S. Army veteran, he served in the European Theatre of Operations during WWII.  He was a lifelong farmer and retired from AVCO.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Trusty Dillard Graves; brother, Robert Graves; four sisters:  Opal (Robert) Dillard, Otelia (Fred) Vantrease, Amy (Rev. Allen) Buhler, Hilda (Don) Glick.

Survived by three sisters:  Frances (Leon) Vantrease, Ellen (Joe) Glick, Sue (Wallace) Alsup; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015, at 3 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Jon Akin and Bro. Terry Fesler officiating.  Pallbearers:  Mark Tuggle, Mark Easterly, Terry and Robin Vantrease, Victor Buhler, Bro. Thomas Bains, Will Eskew.  Interment – Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation Friday 3-7 p.m. and Saturday 1-3 p.m.
