Charles E. Minchey

noflower-flagFuneral Services for Mr. Charles Edward Minchey, age 83 of Lebanon, are scheduled to be conducted Monday June 30, 2014 at 11am from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.  Bro. Don Craighead will officiate and interment will follow in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Sunday June 29, from 2pm until 6pm and again on Monday after 9am.

Born in Jackson County, TN on August 2, 1930 Mr. Minchey was the son of the late Cordell and Zelma Bailey Minchey.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by daughter, Wanda Minchey; and sister, Eutolia Minchey Denton. He was a skilled carpenter by trade and was a member of the Philadelphia Church of Christ.

He leaves behind his wife of 61 years Mrs. Helen Craighead Minchey; Son, Donny David (Barbara) Minchey of Lebanon; Grandchildren, Rachel Minchey, Dustan (Sarah) Minchey; Great-Grandchildren, Keaton Bain, William Ely Minchey, and Emma Grace Minchey; Sister, Mrs. Dolores Cook of Wartrace; and Brother, Roy Taylor (Debbie) Minchey of Carthage.

His family will serve as pallbearers.
