Margaret Johnson Ferrell

margaret ferrellMargaret J. Ferrell, 93, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016. Born October 1, 1922, she was the daughter of the late James C. and Maggie Johnson of Lebanon. She grew up in the Taylorsville community of Wilson County. Mrs. Ferrell graduated from Lebanon High School and Draughn’s Business College, Nashville. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, John K. Ferrell, and an infant son, John.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, James K. (Cheryl) Ferrell of Wheaton IL and Miriam K. Ferrell (Roger Faculak) of Cave Creek AZ; two grandchildren, Kimberly S. Ferrell of Chicago IL and Jonathan W. Ferrell of Hanover Park IL; beloved cousin, Dot Dodson of Lebanon; special friends and caregivers Tony Dematteo, Georgie Vantrease and Brittney Waldron, all of Lebanon.

Mrs. Ferrell enjoyed reading and her Sunday School class at First Baptist Church, but her home and family were of greatest importance to her.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. with Martin Frost officiating.  Interment Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
