Linda Robinson Gibbons
Mrs. Linda Robinson Gibbons, age 69 of Lebanon, passed away Thursday September 7, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Born July 5, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Marshall Evans Robinson, Sr. and Mary Leona Gilbert Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. After graduating high school she became a beautician, a career which created many long lasting friendships.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Phillip Gibbons; brothers, Marshall Evans Robinson, Jr. (Barbara) and Robert (Sue) Robinson. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 12, 2017 at 10AM from Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Tommy Mallard officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery in Madison, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4PM until 8PM and again on Tuesday after 9AM.
Jerry Tobbitt, Tommy Tobbitt, Mark Gracia, Ronnie Jones, Johnie Sims, and Jerry Rice will serve as Pallbearers.
