Messages for the Family

  1. Nick Satariano says:
Joe was an incredible role model and leader that I looked up to in Troop 42. He was soft spoken, strong, and never complained no matter how many equipment bags he had to carry. He was as strong as an ox! My memories of him in Philmont were my favorite, we had a lot of laughs. Best wishes Joe and family, we’ve lost a great man.
    • Alex Johnson says:
I was in the same Troop 42 class along with Nick Satariano, and on that trip to Philmont as well. Everything Nick said rings as true today as it felt when we were there. Joe not only never complained about brunting the biggest load, he seemed to take it on with passion as if it were his role and he was inspired and energized by that ultra-hardworking mentality.

We truly have lost a great man, and this news saddens me to hear.

      Rest in peace, Joe.
