John F. Criner

Criner age 90 of Lebanon died January 16, 2015.  A native of Jasper, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Bolin and Tess Criner.  He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII aboard the USS Mississippi and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a retired Hearing Aide Specialist.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Robinson Criner; two brothers.  Survived by son, Jack Criner; brother-in-law, J.T. (Martha) Robinson; their children:  Denise (Gary) Thorne, Sandra (Tick) Bryan, Andy (Gayle) Robinson.  Graveside services are Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at 2 p.m. from the Wilson County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Don McElroy officiating.  Pallbearers:  Andy and Drew Robinson, Caleb and Eric Thorne, John Pope, Tick Bryan.  Visitation Tuesday 1-1:45 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo.
