Funeral services for Mr. John Bert Bearden will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Pastor John Hunn officiating.  Interment with military honors will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation Monday 4-7 PM and Tuesday 11 AM until service at Ligon & Bobo.

Mr. Bearden, age 92 of Lebanon passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016, at his home.

Born December 25, 1923, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, he is the son of the late Sam Walter and Hattie Gertrude Barnes Bearden.  He was a Navy veteran having served during World War II.  He worked at Heil Quaker Heating & Air for thirty eight years and is a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Sally Frances Sanders, Martha Mae Boone, and Mary Edith Smith; and a brother, Frank Martin Bearden.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Colvett Bearden; and two daughters and sons in law, Pam & Paul Kirby of Sylacauga, AL and Patricia & Ron Gipson of Lebanon.
