Funeral services for Mr. Jim Barrett will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Denton officiating.  Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Visitation Tuesday 2–8 PM and Wednesday after 9 AM at Ligon & Bobo.

Mr. Barrett, age 52 of Lebanon passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Tennova.

Born February 27, 1967, in Davidson County, he is the son of Judy Felts Barrett and the late James Barrett.  He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Meteorology from Western.  He was a special education paraprofessional at Watertown Middle School and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of nearly twenty years, Tammy Walters Barrett; two children: Nick & Samantha Barrett; mother, Judy Felts Barrett; brother, Brian Kelly Barrett; uncles: Ray Felts, Gary (Rita) Felts, and Bill (Linda) Felts; father & mother in law: Howard & Linda Walters; brother-in-law, Jeff (Audrey) Walters; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Honorary pallbearers: Hillcrest VBS Security Team

Active Pallbearers: Mike, Eddie & Brian Felts, Jeff Walters, Tim Rose, Tommy Presley, Glenn Hollis, and Mark Scarlett.

Memorials may be made to the children’s college fund.
