James Andrew Buhler

Mr. James Andrew Buhler, age 71 of Lebanon, passed away December 22, 2017. A native of Wilson County, he was the son of the late Robert Earl Buhler and Ella Lorraine Hobbs Buhler. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and retired from TRW Ross Gear.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of the Wilson County Sportsman’s Club.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Buhler was preceded in death by brother, Bob Buhler; niece, Brooke Jones. He is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Connie Gibbs Buhler; three sons:  James Michael Buhler, Jarrod Andrew (Kristie) Buhler, James Daniel Buhler; five grandchildren:  Gage, Brayson, Dalton, Kason and Bronx Buhler; brother, Alex (Charlene) Buhler; five sisters:  Janie (Roger) Ray, Julia, Betsy and Diana Buhler, Anne (Victor) Tuck.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Owens officiating. Interment with military honors – Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Active Pallbearers:  Corey and Ty Buhler, Brian and Greg Metcalf, Josh Richardson, Clay Buhler, Nick Ray, Donnie Gibbs, Donnie Jackson, Joe Goode.  Honorary Pallbearers:  Former Co-Workers of TRW, Jim Goodall, Jim Major.  Special Thanks to WEMA, Wilson Co. Sheriff’s Office and Tennova of Lebanon.  Visitation Wednesday 2-8 p.m. and Thursday after 11 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo.

    I saw Andy’s name in the obit and had to tell you that I’m so sorry. Andy worked for me at Mid Cumberland and I thought so much of him. The last time I saw him, He, Connie and the first child came to Nashville to visit me. My heart goes out to all of you.
