What a wonderful man ! I am saddened to hear this news. I rented a farm house from Mr. Gordon for over 3 years. He used to come feed the cattle everyday. I kept an eye out for coyotes, and for any sicknesses especially in his calves. He always told me how much he appreciated my help. We only lost one calf in 3 years . He always brought my wife n I James, juices etc… at Christmas time. I am praying for this beautiful family, special prayers for my friend Suanne. He spoke of you often and sure loved you. Gordon always acted more like you were doing him some kind of favor. Always thanking me for my help. This made me grow to have a great deal of respect and admiration for him and your entire family throughout my life. He was as they say one of the good ones. Prayers for you ,Hal, Margaret, and his entire family as you say your goodbyes for now. You have my deepest sympathy.

Our hearts are saddened at the loss of a great man and friend. Mr. Bone was such a kind hearted man with a smile and kind words for all. We have lived on Spring Creek for 33 years and he has always been here . Always willing to lend a helping hand. It won’t be the same without him. To Hal, Suanne and Miss Pat, we will be praying for peace and comfort for y’all. We’ve had neighbors come sit on the front porch with us the last couple of days and we are all devastated. But we shared some good memories of Mr. Bone. RIP “Mr. Bone” you will never be forgotten.
