20160609_140109Funeral services for Mr. H  L  Winfree will be 2:00 PM Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Pastor John Hunn officiating.  Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation Friday 2-7 PM and Saturday after 12 Noon at Ligon & Bobo.

Mr. Winfree, age 83 of Lebanon passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016, at his home.

Born November 20, 1932, in Dekalb County, he is the son of the late Robert and Minnie Mae Winard Winfree.  He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, and was the manager of the H. G. Hills Store for many years.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bobbie Dean Everett Winfree; two sisters, Athalene Barnes and Ruth Minchey; and five brothers, Nelson, Auburn, Jamie, Buren and Jewell Winfree.

He is survived by three sons, Mark (Gina) Winfree, Bruce Winfree, and Brooks (Kimberly) Winfree; grandchildren, Dalton & Abbie Winfree, Elayja Monique, Kylee Dean, and H. Leo Winfree; and brother, Jack (Margie) Winfree.

Pallbearers:  Dalton Winfree, Josh Richardson, Ryan House, David Porterfield, Matt Wrye, Chad Harwell, and Christopher Eskew.
