    To Gail’s family and friends:

I am at a teacher at Sam Houston Elementary. I just wanted you to know that when I came to Sam Houston Elementary 21 years ago, Gail was a cafeteria worker there. Over the years, I enjoyed seeing her smiling face and sense of humor on a daily basis. I am truly going to miss her. She was a kind person and I will forget her. She was a hardworking individual, a go-getter, and someone to be trusted. I know she worked hard to be sure we all had food to eat and especially for our kids. She went above and beyond her job duties. I cannot express how you must be feeling, but please know that all of us at Sam Houston Elementary appreciated and loved her. May God comfort you at this difficult time. Prayers for your peace. RIP my sweet friend, Gail Murphy Davis.
